I just grabbed the new Cream reunion DVD culled from their multi-day concert dates at the Royal Albert Hall. WOW! Is it good! I've never been that big a Cream fan from the old days, but this DVD was really enjoyable. The sound and photography is top-notch and the Royal Albert Hall is spectacular to the say the least.
After a shaky start (a rather tepid reading of "I'm So Glad") band members Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker hit their stride and the music just flows and flows. Everybody seemed real relaxed and their playing was stellar. The set (which had takes from different nights that they played) consisted of:

I would give this DVD a 4 star rating and plan on watching it many times as the music is SO good. Nice to see REAL muscians who can play their own stuff and still love doing it after so many years. As always you can order it through this website, so grab it!
